It was a dark and terrible moment when Courteney Cox lost her buddy, Matthew Perry, who died in October 2023. She feels like he’s still around from a spiritual perspective.
Reminiscing on the past, the actress talked of the closeness she had with her Companion co-star during a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning. She talked about how her co-stars were her loved ones at the hour of recording, and she was unable to be more appreciative to have had that experience.

She additionally remarked on her conviction that Perry’s still around to assist with directing her through life, like what she feels with friends and family who’ve died.
According to Cox’s explanation, “I’m just thankful that I had that opportunity to work with such wonderful people and to live the life that I have now.” “That was my loved ones. When it’s all said and done, we went through everything. They are my family, and those ten years were everything. “I think he’s probably one of the funniest people in the world,” Cox said of Perry.
She went on to say “You know, he’s simply so amusing. He is really a gigantic heart, clearly battled. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with him so closely for so many years. He visits me a ton, assuming we put stock in that.” “Gracious better believe it,”
The answer that came when inquired as to whether she felt Perry’s presence was, quoting from her: “You know, I talk to my mom, dad, and Matthew. I feel like a lot of people are, I think, guiding us. I do detect, definitely, I sense Matthew’s around without a doubt.”

On her Instagram post following his passing Cox wrote “I am so thankful for each second I had with you Matty and I miss you consistently. There are thousands of moments I wish I could share with and work with someone as closely as I did with you. Until further notice here’s one of my top choices. You were very entertaining and caring.” She added.
Earlier this month, Cox posted about the 20th anniversary of the Friends series finale from 2004. She mentioned that she couldn’t “understand how we managed to act through all the tears.” She added, “Forever grateful”.
Perry was 54 years old when he was found dead in a hot tub on October 28, 2023. His demise was ascribed to various elements, including the impacts of ketamine and buprenorphine, suffocation, and coronary conduit sickness.
