Fans have been wanting to know the real reason for Matthew Perry’s Death, and it has finally been discovered in an autopsy report made public on Friday.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office stated that the actor from the television series “Friends“, died from an accidental overdose of Ketamine with “drowning, coronary artery disease, and buprenorphine effects” as contributory factors.

Ketamine is an illegal recreational drug because of its numbing and hallucinogenic effects. Apart from the medication’s use by doctors as an anesthetic, researchers are investigating its possible application as a mental health treatment.

According to the autopsy, Perry had been receiving ketamine infusion therapy for just “one and a half weeks” prior to his death. He had supposedly been clean for 19 months.

However, it was stated that “the ketamine in his system at death could not be from that infusion therapy, since ketamine’s half-life is 3 to 4 hours or less.”
