On Monday, Travis Kelce revealed his promise to Taylor Swift after she had won the 66th Annual Grammy Award.
The 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated his girlfriend’s Grammy victory with pride as a lover.
In his words “I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware, too”.
After Swift won her fourth Album of the Year, Kelce remarked, ”She’s unbelievable, she’s rewriting the history books herself.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift made history when she won the sought-after Album of the Year award for her album Midnights. She is the first person to have won the renowned category four times.
How is Travis Kelce and Taylor’s Relationship?
The pair last made an appearance together on the field on January 28, following the Chiefs’ AFC championship victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
Although most fans were expecting to see the couple during the Grammys, Travis Kelce on “The Pat McAfee Show” before the awards said he wasn’t going to be present.
He said, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but I have practice on Sunday, or I think Sunday’s a travel day,”.
On the flip side, Swift announced that she would be releasing a new album, “The Tortured Poets Department” at the Grammys. The track list was released on February 5.
Her lover Travis has revealed that he had heard a taste of Swift’s new album. He went on to say “I have heard some of it, yes, and it’s unbelievable,” he admitted. When it does drop, I can’t wait for her to rock the globe.”
When asked for specifics about what he had heard, Kelce said, “I can’t give you anything.” I’ll leave that to her”.
Fans are already speculating if Swift will be able to support her beau during the Super Bowl.
The singer is scheduled to return to Tokyo on February 7th to continue her “Eras Tour.” After that, she’ll play four nights in the city, with her final performance taking place the day before the big game.
