“I am thankful for so much in my life and one of the things I am most thankful for is the work we’ve been able to do with the Rare Impact Fund through @Rarebeauty,” she captioned the post of herself blowing out candles on a floral-adorned cake.
“Because of YOU, we’ve been able to raise awareness and increase access to mental health services for young people. This is my true passion in life.”

For Gomez’s 28th birthday in July 2020, her cosmetics firm “Rare Beauty” unveiled the “Rare Impact Fund.” The fund’s initial goal was to generate $100 million over the following ten years in order to support neglected regions with mental health care.
With the self-affirming purpose that “being unusual is about being content with oneself,” the “Lose You to Love Me” singer established Rare Beauty in February 2020. Her third album, Rare, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, is referenced in the line’s title.
Gomez hinted that the follow-up to Rare was finally in the works earlier this summer. She posted pictures from the recording studio to Instagram with the remark, “Don’t worry guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris. 😉.”
