Fans of Marvel movies have been super excited since the Deadpool 3 release date was announced. Actually, the movie world has taken a different turn this year with lots of amazing clips lined up.
There’s been a lot of speculation about the Deadpool franchise’s future since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox in March 2019.
The movie had huge box office numbers with the release of the 2016 original picture and its 2018 sequel.
When Deadpool 2 was first released in 2018, it made a whopping $18.6 million at the North American box office. Similar success was had by “Deadpool” two years earlier when it made $132.4 million in its American premiere for an R-rated movie.
Deadpool 3 which is expected to make its MCU debut this year is in good hands with Ryan Reynolds playing the lead role.
Reynolds will not only collaborate with Marvel Studios but also work again with the film’s director, Shawn Levy. Amazing right?
So, fasten your seatbelt as we take you on a “Marvel” journey, telling you everything you need to know about Deadpool’s release date, its cast, trailer, and plot.
When is the Deadpool 3 Release Date?
On July 26, 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in theaters.
The movie’s original release date was September 6, 2024. However, it was later rescheduled to November 8, 2024, and then moved again to May 2024.
WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes were one of the contributory factors to the movie’s shift. Deadpool 3’s production ceased on July 14, 2023, after the writers and the cast went on an unprecedented strike.
Fortunately, all strikes have ended, but Deadpool and Wolverine had to reschedule their release date.
Does Deadpool 3 Have a Trailer?
Yes, there’s a trailer for Deadpool 3. The first trailer for Deadpool’s MCU debut revealed the film’s name: Deadpool & Wolverine.
It was unveiled at Super Bowl LVIII where Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, the wife of lead actor Ryan Reynolds, watched the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
The teasers, which clocks in at just under two and a half minutes, give viewers a peek at Wade’s most recent adventure as he meets the TVA(Time Variance Authority).

How did Ryan Introduce the Wolverine Character to Fans of Deadpool?
In a video released on social media on September 27, 2022, Ryan was dressed in one of Deadpool’s outfits where he claimed he had no genuine ideas for the next film.
After spilling some of his branded Aviation gin into a Deadpool mug, just when you think everything is fine, Hugh Jackman appears behind Reynolds.
This made him pose a question “Hey Hugh, you wanna play Wolverine one more time?” Hugh said “Yes”. The video ends with “Coming Hughn”.
Less than a day later, Reynolds released a follow-up video where he and Jackman tried to explain how Wolverine returned to life following his death in Logan.
What is Deadpool 3 All About?
In the storyline, Deadpool will be pressured into joining the TVA led by Paradox, as shown by the first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine.
This is similar to how Mobius kidnapped Loki and converted him into a TVA operative in the first season.
Deadpool is destined to find himself in the Void, where he will eventually become friends with a Wolverine clone. Meanwhile, Deadpool and Wolverine’s arrival in the MCU could lead to multiverse mayhem.
Subsequently, the initial official synopsis for Deadpool & Wolverine was made public. It says “The irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!”
Who are the Writers of Deadpool 3?
The collaboration between Reynolds and the Emmy Award-winning twins, Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin on writing for Deadpool 3 was first announced in November 2020.
The nicest thing about them is that they wrote several episodes of Bob’s Burgers, one of the greatest animated shows ever.
Do you think they will pull this off? Well, we just have to wait till July to find out.
