On the 2021 Call Her Daddy podcast, Zayn said- “I knew what the situation was, I knew what happened, and the people involved knew what happened too and that’s all I really cared about, If anybody of a sane mind would look at the situation, I believe you could respect that I just didn’t want to bring attention to anything, know? I wasn’t trying to get into a negative back and forth with her.”
What actually happened?
Zayn was reportedly charged with four counts of harassment on Friday, October 29. One of those allegations of harassment relates to Gigi. Who he is believed to have yelled at during the confrontation with her mother. The former member of One Direction reportedly told Gigi over the phone to “strap on some **fking balls and protect your lover against your **fking mother in my house,” according to court records obtained by TMZ.
According to TMZ, on September 29, 2021, Gigi’s mother invaded their Pennsylvania property when Gigi wasn’t at home, which is when the incident involving Zayn and Yolanda occurred. According to the docs, he reportedly told Yolanda to “keep away from [my] **fking daughter” after calling her a “**fking Dutch **sl*t.”, the singer allegedly “pushed”.
After the event, the singer was charged with harassment. But, later entered a plea of not guilty and paid a fine. Along with completing anger management and a domestic violence course, Zayn has also been mandated to serve 360 days of probation, or 90 days for each count. The celebrity must also stop communicating with Yolanda, Gigi’s mother, and the security guard who was present during the confrontation.

He also mentioned how well he and Gigi get along as co-parents. Following the revelation of the altercation, the two separated in 2021. The former member of One Direction said that he and Gigi get along “very well,” indicating that he has joint custody of the child. He said, “I’m really hands-on and present with my child whenever I can. “I would have it if I could have 60% of it.”
