Robert De Niro’s grandson passed away on 4 July 2023 by consuming fentanyl-laced pills. Robert De Niro’s daughter came out on social media and accepted the cause of her son’s death. She claimed, someone intentionally sold him laced fentanyl pills.
Robert De Niro’s condolences to his grandson
Robert De Niro came out and appreciated everyone for their heartfelt condolences. He also asked everyone to give them privacy to grieve for their loss. Robert De Niro’s grandson Leandro De Niro’s corpse was found in a New York apartment. Leandro co-starred with Drena in many films before his passing.
He played roles in- the Collection from 2005, Cabaret Maxime from 2018, and the remake of A Star Is Born from 2018. Leandro De Niro was only 19 when he passed and every family member is desperately dealing with his loss.
His mother, Drena De Niro said- ‘My lovely, precious angel. I have loved you indescribably since the first time I sensed your presence inside of me. You were my pride, my heart, and everything sincere and true in my life,” she also wished to be with him at this moment.
She continued, “I don’t know how to live without you. But I’ll make an effort to carry on and share the love and brightness that becoming your mother has made me feel. I wish love alone could have rescued you since I loved and admired you so much.” Take a look at the Instagram post below.

In the comment section of the same Instagram post Leandro De Niro’s father condolences his son. He honored his wife and said- “My sweet Drena… Words cannot adequately explain it. The delight he brought us or the sadness we now feel alongside our loved ones. He is now a Godchild. On this full moon, his spirit illuminates what could not be seen in the dark. You can’t spell LOVE without LEO.“
