Khloé Kardashian, a well-known TV star and businesswoman, recently shared her thoughts on the challenges she faced while creating her fragrance. The founder of Good American shared with Hello! Fashion Monthly that she is getting ready to launch a new perfume this year.
In the magazine’s August/September 2024 issue, she admitted that the idea of releasing a perfume on her own was “scary. Khloé is part of the famous Kardashian family, known for their reality TV show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She has been involved in various business ventures, including fashion, beauty, and fitness.
She created her first fragrance, Unbreakable, along with several follow-up scents in 2011 with her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. However, she mentioned that working on a fragrance by herself was a completely different experience.
In an interview with a popular magazine, Khloé said, “Creating a fragrance is not as easy as it looks. There is a lot of pressure to get everything right. From choosing the perfect scent to designing the bottle, every detail matters.” She explained that she wanted the fragrance to reflect her personality and style, which added to the pressure.
Khloé also mentioned that she spent many months working with experts to develop the scent. She tested numerous combinations before finding the one she loved.
The fragrance industry is highly competitive, with many celebrities launching their scents. Khloé admitted that this added to her anxiety. “There are so many amazing fragrances out there. I wanted mine to stand out but also be true to who I am,” she explained.
Despite the challenges, Khloé is proud of her creation. She hopes her fans will love the fragrance as much as she does. “It’s been a long journey, but I am happy with the result. I can’t wait for everyone to try it,” she said.
Khloé’s yet-to-be-named fragrance is set to launch in December, and her fans are eagerly waiting to get their hands on it.
Is Khloe the Only Kardashian in the Perfume Business?
Khloé Kardashian isn’t the only one in her family to enter the fragrance market. Her sister Kim has KKW Fragrance, and her other sister, Kylie Jenner, launched her perfume called Cosmic earlier this year.
In an interview with WWD last December, Khloé said she feels very different now compared to when she made perfumes in the past. “I’m older and wiser,” she explained.
Khloé’s KKW scent included a mix of floral notes like cloud musks, pink sapphire tuberose, and blushing jasmine. Her Unbreakable series with Lamar Odom had unisex scents with gourmand, fruity, and floral notes.
Khloé didn’t reveal much about her upcoming perfume, but she did say, “I love for a scent to be classic and for you to be captivated by it.”
