Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have a history of on-and-off relationships. However, much is being heard of their separation lately. The rumor now seems a little too real as Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday.
Jennifer turned 55 this Saturday, amidst rumors of separation from husband Ben. The actress hosted a Bridgerton-themed birthday party on Saturday in the Hamptons and Ben Affleck was nowhere to be seen.
Many other guests were seen in royal attires but Ben was reportedly in Los Angeles, far from not only the birthday party but also from the extended birthday celebration the next day. Lopez hosted a lunch for her family on Sunday; again, Ben did not attend the lunch either.

Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in 2022, 20 years after they called off their first engagement. Lopez started seeing Ben Affleck in 2002 when she was yet to divorce her then-husband, Cris Judd.
Lopez’s album This Is Me… Then was inspired by Affleck. In November 2002, they became engaged, but due to excessive media attention, the wedding they had planned for September 2003 was postponed. They ended their engagement in January 2004.
After their breakup, Affleck and Lopez stayed in touch occasionally. Lopez mentioned that Affleck’s unease with the media was a reason for their split and later described it as her “first real heartbreak,” saying, “Maybe if the timing had been different, things might have turned out differently, but there was real love between us.”
Ben also resisted the idea that their relationship was a mistake and reflected on the intense tabloid attention they faced, admitting that they underestimated how much attention they would get.
Affleck and Lopez rekindled their relationship in April 2021, 20 years after they first met. The couple got engaged again in April 2022. They married in a small Las Vegas ceremony on July 16, 2022, and later had a larger celebration with family and friends at Affleck’s home in Georgia.
