Over the weekend, Angelina Jolie was seen shopping in Los Angeles with her rarely-seen son, Knox, by her side.
The “Maleficent” entertainer and her 15-year-old boy were snapped leaving a pet store on Sunday with a couple of packs loaded with toys and treats. For the simple outing, Knox, who appeared to be fully grown and taller than his mother, wore a casual outfit. He matched a Shirt with dark athletic shorts, white socks, and Nike high-top shoes.
In contrast, Angelina Jolie selected a more opulent and formal option. She wore sunglasses and black heeled boots to accessorize with a matching black blazer, pants, and white top. The mother and son were likely looking for items for their pets.
The actress has made it clear that she loves animals, and over the years, the family has raised several dogs, bunnies, and snakes.
Knox, who Jolie shares with ex-Brad Pitt, was seen in public for the first time since December 2023 during Sunday’s outing. He and two of his siblings went out to support Jolie’s New York City store, Atelier Jolie.
What is Angelina Jolie’s Relationship with her other child?
Vivienne, Knox’s twin sister, appears to have accepted the spotlight while Knox seems to have avoided it. She recently collaborated with her mother on the Broadway production of “The Outsiders” as an assistant and co-producer. Jolie and Vivienne even walked the red carpet together at the 2024 Tony Awards last month in matching outfits.
Even though the mother-daughter moment on the carpet was adorable, Vivienne was enmeshed in some drama when audience members noticed that she listed her name as “Vivienne Jolie” instead of “Vivienne Jolie-Pitt” in the Playbill.
This was the reason why she was listed as “Vivienne Jolie.” Shortly after her older sister Zahara did the same during her induction into the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, she dropped her dad’s last name from her moniker.
Whether 19-year-old Zahara or Vivienne have filed a legal petition to change their last names is still being determined. However, on Shiloh’s 18th birthday in May, just days after the news of Vivienne’s name went public, she filed a legal petition to remove “Pitt” from her last name.
