After seven years of marriage, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have separated and are getting divorced. The couple stated- “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for the respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
While in Italy celebrating her 51st birthday with a group of pals, the “Modern Family” star is missing Manganiello and her wedding band.
Last spotted together in Hoboken, New Jersey, last month. Sofia Vergara visited Joe Manganiello, while he was filming “Nonnas” with Vince Vaughn.
Vergara, a judge on the NBC sensation “America’s Got Talent,” is in Capri with her best pals and appears to be having the time of her life as she shares a number of sensual Instagram photographs.
When life offers you lemons, you come to Italy to squeeze them. Vergara subsequently said on Instagram, indicating that Manganiello’s absence was noted by his followers.
Is anyone else interested in Joe’s whereabouts? asked an Instagram user. Another stated: “Where her spouse is, he hasn’t been in any of the images or videos.”
Manganiello stated to PEOPLE in August 2020 that he believed he made the correct choice in choosing to spend all of his time with Vergara.
Ahead of their fifth wedding anniversary, he remarked on their relationship, “I knew fairly soon that I could trust her, and she knew pretty quickly that she could trust me. And we’re both the sort of individuals who can put the needs of others above our own. Whatever her wants were, I was able to prioritize them over mine, and she was able to do the same. You hold onto that once you get it.”
